For we are God's own handiwork ( His workmanship
). recreated in Christ Jesus, { born anew } that we may do those
good works which God predestined ( planned beforehand ) for us {
taking paths which He prepared ahead of time } , that we should walk
in them { living the good life which he prearranged and made
ready for us to live. (Epe.2:10 amp)
(1) When we Know that we are
God's workmanship-- ( His masterpiece, handiwork; this means we
have been skillfully handcrafted by Him for His on intention...
Everything God wants from us He has put with us and made us in Christ.
(2) We are created in Christ--this tells me
that God has never known me in any other place than where He created
me; which is IN Christ Jesus.
(3) The good works are the works which
He planned before-hand for us.
These are the works of faith and grace, they
are the accomplishments of the Holy Spirit in us; for our
predestined purpose, this causes us to triumph over every adversary,
in order that we may finish our God ordained mission.
(4) Living the good life which He
prearranged, and made ready for us to live. Just as in the first
creation He made man only after He got everything ready, so this is
true in the new creation also.
God waited untill the 6th day to make man
because He did not need man's help.
(1 Chronicles 29:16) King David made
full provision for the building of the temple of Solomon, even so
Jesus made full provision for the building of His church through His
finished work, this gives us complete forgiveness, victory, rest,
peace, prosperity, and joyful fulfillment for every divine purpose.
